Stay length

Long-term Accommodation Near Sizewell; monthly stays that can stretch to a full project lifecycle.

Long-term contractor stays at Sizewell typically run from one month to twelve, and occasionally longer. The setup needs are different from a weekly stay, the kitchen has to handle every meal, the WiFi has to handle the calls you'll be making, the bedroom has to feel like a room you live in rather than a room you sleep in, and the operator behind the property has to be reachable when something needs replacing.

Our properties are set up for stays of this length. Bills are typically included, a regular cleaning schedule is built in, and rates step down as the duration grows. Exact inclusions are confirmed per booking.

How long-term stays are priced

Long-term rates are quoted per booking rather than from a published table, they depend on the time of year, length of commitment, group size and which property is the right fit. As a rough guide, monthly rates work out around twenty to thirty percent below the equivalent weekly rate, and three-plus-month placements get a further reduction.

What's included

Everything that turns a holiday let into a workable home for several months: utilities, WiFi, regular cleaning and linen change, kitchen basics, parking at most properties, a council-tax-paid arrangement, and a single human contact for anything that needs sorting. Council tax, water, electricity and gas are not metered back to you.

  • Bills, council tax and WiFi typically included
  • Weekly to fortnightly cleaning calibrated to length
  • Linen and towel changes throughout
  • Parking at most properties, driveway, allocated bay or permit
  • Direct line for issues, no overseas call centre

Where long-term contractors tend to settle

The Iris Close houses in Wenhaston are particularly popular for multi-month rotational stays, four bedrooms, sensible kitchens, garden, and a quiet village location that wears well over time. Mill Rise in Saxmundham is the most-booked single-property long-term stay because of the station and the walkable town. The Leiston townhouses are the choice for full crews on longer placements.

FAQs

Common questions.

What is the longest stay you accommodate?

We have hosted stays well over twelve months. There is no cap; long bookings are confirmed in segments with a rolling extension agreement.

Are council tax and bills really included?

On the vast majority of our long-term stays, yes, no metered charges back to you for utilities or any council tax surcharge. We confirm the inclusions on the quote so there are no surprises.

Can the property be used by different members of a team over time?

Yes, many of our long-term bookings rotate occupants on a single reservation in the company name. We handle linen changes between rotations.

Is there a notice period to leave early?

We agree this case by case at the time of booking. For long-term company bookings we are usually flexible if the project end date moves.
